Mr. Ross

Mr. Ross is a 2nd grade teacher at KCAM. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a bachelor's degree in child development and his multiple subject teaching credential. Mr. Ross started his career in Southern California and has been teaching at KCAM for 15 years. He is married and has three children, Morgan (15), John (5), and Joey (2). A fun fact - all three of his children were born on the 17th! His hobbies include playing guitar and playing with his children, but previously he also enjoyed photography, sailing, remote-controlled car racing, motorcycles, working on vehicles, and video editing/creation. His favorite food is hot wings, he loves the color yellow, and classic rock is his music of choice.

Mr. Ross states, "As a kid I thought I'd grow up to be a ship's captain as I was on a boat every chance I could get. It was while I was teaching sailing lessons to kids in my late teens and early 20s that I discovered that my true passion was teaching kids, rather than the water. The road through college was difficult for me, but persistence paid off and now I love what I do. Moving to King City from Southern California in 2008 was a big change, but it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Being part of this community means the world to me, and it's something I try to not take for granted."

We're glad you made the choice to make King City your home. We appreciate all you do for your students and for KCAM, Mr. Ross. You're Otterly Awesome!
